Little Miss Ambitious' Quest

3/6/2020

Being ambitious comes from within; it is about reflecting on who you are and identifying your strengths and talents which derives from personal interests. What are you passionate about and enjoy doing? What makes you tick? What are your goals?
How can we be ambitious at school and in our learning?
Picture
Little Miss Ambitious would like you to think about what your own personal interests, talents and strengths are and discuss with your family how you can use these talents in school, driven by ambition,  to excel further in something that you have identified yourself at being exceptionally good at. For example, you may be ambitious and take on a 'leadership' role, improve your scores in tests, read more, enter competitions, write your own stories or music, nominate yourself to be a School Councillor - the list goes on.

We would love to hear from you to tell us what your subject strengths are and let us know what your ambitions may be. You may even know what you aspire to be in the future for a job or a career. Let us know your goals?

Happy Wednesday. Have a good day!

Little Miss Ambitious' Quest

'Ambitious' means to have or show a strong desire and determination to succeed and accomplish goals that have been set.

Being ambitious is really good for an individual's self-esteem. It gives us a visualised focused of where we want to be in the future. For example, this could be in your learning/education,  a career, from a fitness perspective for keeping in good health or even in a sporting achievement and many more!
Picture
This week's picture news is about discussing 'Why people choose the jobs they do', so Little Miss Ambitious thought it would be a good starting point to understanding what this value means.

For today's quest, take a look at the Picture News' information and have a discussion with your families about why people decide to strive to achieve a career in a chosen field e.g Education, Health Care, the world of Sport and the Arts such as acting and singing - the list goes on!

What gives individuals their drive? What is their motivation for having set these goal in their life?
