As part of this term’s KS2 topic, ‘Explorers’, Darren Edwards, who is a local disabled adventurer, who was paralysed from a life-changing climbing accident 5years ago, came into speak with KS2.
He was truly inspirational and he provided our children with strategies to build ‘resilience’ through his message of ‘strength through adversity’ which was fantastic to listen to, and our pupils thoroughly enjoyed it.
