Swimming at Trinity

Children have regular opportunities to swim at Trinity. We also enter the Shrewsbury School Games Swimming Gala and often organise an annual Rea Valley Area Swimming Gala for local schools.

We monitor the swimming proficiency of all pupils from Y4-6 and report the percentage of Y6 pupils who have achieved the following at the end of KS2:
- swim more than 25 metres at the end of Year 6 confidently and proficiently
- use a range of strokes effectively
- perform safe self-rescue in different situations.
