Winter Advice 2020/21

Picture
Very occasionally, the operation of the school may be affected by poor weather. Clubs may be cancelled and there may be disruption to transport providers. This doesn't happen often, but it is worth being prepared.

To inform parents, in the first instance we will contact parents via the school text messaging service. It is very important that parents ensure that we have their most up to date contact numbers.

Please contact the school office as soon as possible if you need to update your contact details.

In the event of the school needing to close we will:
  • Inform parents via text message
  • Inform Shropshire Council to update the county wide school closure list which can be accessed here.
  • Keep parents updated via text message, Twitter and the school website

In addition, BBC Radio Shropshire (96FM) will broadcast details of closures and changes to school opening hours when there is snowfall in the county.
