Olivia (Y5) and Sonny (Y2) have been gaining some expert advice from Rob Biddulph, the illustrator of 'My Brother is a Superhero', on his website. They followed step by step instructions  to create their very own characters. Look how well their finished pieces turned out -  brother and sister artists in the making! Well done.

The link to Rob's tutorials are on the blog. Why not have a go and send in your work?

Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre will be releasing free activities, weekly, for you to do at home with your families. Their mission is to bring Easter Holiday fun to you at home!

At the beginning of each week, they will be uploading new crafts and activities to their 'Spring Activities' page, you'll find on their website, that can be done in the house, garden or on your daily walk.

Find activities for this week using this link below and if you have any special requests they've asked for you to let them know - drop them an email!

Class 3 Homograph Riddles

29/3/2020

Homographs are words that are spelt the same but have different meanings. We're focusing on ones that are pronounced differently, too.
Example: Bow
An actor takes a bow at the end of a performance.
A ribbon is tied in a bow.

One of Class 3's tasks this coming week is to create fiendish homograph riddles for us all to solve.  I wonder what they'll come up with!

Have you been taking part in daily workouts with Joe Wicks?

If not, why not join Joe and 800,000 plus children who tune in , all over the world, to his morning workouts, Monday to Friday, which start at 9am and last for 30 minutes. Definitely worth taking part - will leave you feeling invigorated for the rest of the day! Highly recommended.
