Mr Respectful's Daily Quest

How many times can you be 'respectful' today?
Picture
Mr Respectful would really like you to take note of how many times you are respectful today.

Of course, being respectful doesn't just mean when you feel like it or even just for today! Being respectful should come naturally. We should always be respectful - it's about considering others.

Let's make being more respectful obvious today by recognising how many times we are so that we can learn to continue to be this way for always. Why? Well, it makes us a better person/individual in life. It's also fundamental that we respect ourselves as well as others.

So, firstly make a list of phrases you would use to be respectful in different scenarios. For example: Please, have my seat; Apologies, it's my mistake. Instead of using 'Could' you can replace with 'May' e.g. May I carry your bags for you? Actions can sometimes speak louder than words, for example: looking at the person who is speaking to acknowledge you are listening.

Secondly, Mr Respectful would like you to see how many times you can be respectful today. How might you help out at home? How kind can you be towards your siblings and pets? How can you be respectful towards your toys? How can you be respectful towards nature e.g. feeding the birds. Again, make a list of all the ways you have been respectful today.

Later, post in your lists of 'respectful phrases' and 'actions' you have taken to show respect.

Look forward to hearing from you - have a good day at being respectful!
